Velodramatic on Holiday in the Hebrides

Velodramatic will be taking a two week break on the Islands of Lewis and Harris off the West coast of Scotland. The principal focus is landscape photography but I will have the loan of a 2008 Enigma Echo for the week, and expect to get some good cycling images on and off the bike. I'm already looking forward to April when my custom Enigma Eulogy frame is scheduled for delivery.

Friday the 29th, on Lewis at the Bonaventure. Incredible vistas. The light on the mainland and Skye on the first two days was great. The forecast for today and tomorrow on Harris was severe weather - gale force winds and rain. It definitely lived up to that at times with gusts to 50 mph. The ferry from Talbert to Uig had to turn back mid crossing because the weather was so bad in the channel. Lucky for us our crossing yesterday was calm.

Inspite of the high winds and lashing rain we still had periods of terrific light today. Hoping the dramatic clouds continue but with a little less wind

We got some interesting images of the Enigma on the beach at Luskintyre and earlier at the Quirang on Skye. More ideas and images to follow weather permitting. It's a great ride, can't imagine how good my Eulogy will feel.
