We’re breathless too keeping up with you and the team. The heat of the French countryside comes through in these images from the race. Some wonderful flashes of the quiet beyond the race and the fluttering flags bring a little breeze to cool the brow as the pace hots up. Still some distance to go but the miles are clicking up and the push to the line will come quicker than you might think now.

Time seems to be accelerating… I can’t believe we’re almost 2/3 the way to Paris but with the big mountains of the Pyrénées starting tomorrow the hardest part lies ahead. I’m trying to slow down when it comes to the landscape stuff but it’s hard with the guys always on the move. In the last week I’ll try get a couple of morning/evening light sessions in… if I can stay awake. Today I had to stop twice to douse myself with cold water to keep from pulling over and sleeping for a couple of hours.
